Re:Guest Product Updates: March 2024
Continuous improvements to your Re:Guest
The difference is in the detail. I have improved myself for you in all areas again and offer you not just seven spring-fresh features, but also five new interfaces.
NEW FEATURES 💥
Feature #1 – New Text Editor
For personalizing and formatting ✏️ texts within Re:Guest, I offer you a new, modern editor. With it, you can:
(Activated automatically and for free)
Feature #2 – Sales Campaigns: Adaptation to the new reception guidelines
In February 2024, Google and other providers updated their email reception policies to avoid unwanted emails 📧 and improve sending. I have adapted to the new security standards so you can now send newsletters with Sales Campaigns using your own domain without difficulties and higher spam rates.
(Activated on request for free)
Feature #3 – Cancellation conditions by season in the offer
In your offers, you can now personalize the cancellation conditions and define your own texts per season.
Here's how:
(Activated automatically and for free)
Feature #4 – Optimization of the variant assistant for room categories and rates
Do you work with many room categories and rates? Then a practical filter 🔍 is now available for creating your offers: It allows you to display only the available room categories and rates when selecting the rate or rates you want to offer. This facilitates and speeds up your search.
(Activated automatically and for free)
Feature #5 – "(Name) is writing..." display for better collaboration in Messenger and on WhatsApp
When a colleague is about to respond to a guest in Messenger or on WhatsApp 💬, it's now visible for you and everyone else in the team ("Johanna is writing..."). This allows you to better coordinate your guest communication, avoid mistakes or duplicate answers, and work more efficiently together.
(Activated automatically and for free)
Feature #6 – Two-factor authentication for selected users
Two-factor authentication is an additional security level 🔒 for your Re:Guest system. It was introduced almost a year ago. Until now, every user could set the security level via their account. From now on, the responsibility falls to the Re:Guest administrator, who can define whether two-factor authentication should be mandatory for all or some employees. This way, sensitive guest data in Re:Guest is even better protected.
(Paid activation upon request)
Feature #7 – Regular Reports
If you wish, you can now receive a weekly, monthly, or annual Re:Guest report 📊 via email. This way, you keep full track of statistics and get a periodic summary of inquiries, offers, and bookings in tabular form. Just decide in your user management which users the reports should be sent to.

NEW INTERFACES 🔗
2way+ interfaces:
With a 2way+ interface, all data on availabilities and prices enter the Re:Guest system. The booking data from Re:Guest is transmitted to your IBE or your PMS, and in return, you receive all bookings generated via other sales channels (e.g., from online booking platforms and OTAs). This way, you also gain contacts of guests who have booked via alternative channels and can use these for your marketing actions and communication in the pre-, on-, and post-stay.
(Activated on request - Only for customers with an active interface)
Interfaces for importing bookings:
Thanks to the new interfaces to HNS and Interalp, all booking data from other sales channels (e.g., from online booking platforms and OTAs) enter your IBE or your PMS. This way, you gain additional guest contacts and can use these for your marketing actions and communication in the pre-, on-, and post-stay.
