ReGuest appoints Florian Augustin as Chief Product Officer

A further strategic step in the development of the first Commercial Operating Platform for hotels

Effective April 7, 2026, Florian Augustin from Vienna joins ReGuest as the new Chief Product Officer (CPO). With this step, we are purposefully strengthening our product strategy and reaching another milestone in our buy‑and‑build strategy and in the development of the first Commercial Operating Platform (ComOP) for hotels.



Strengthening product and platform strategy
By creating the position of Chief Product Officer, we are paving the way for the further development of a unified commercial platform for the hospitality industry. The goal is to provide hotels with an integrated solution to manage and optimize all commercial processes along the guest journey, reducing complexity and increasing revenues.

In his new role, Florian Augustin will take on a central function and will play a key role in shaping the strategic and conceptual development of the platform.

The Commercial Operating Platform (ComOP)
The core idea behind the first hotel ComOP is to offer hotels a single platform to bundle, manage, and optimize all commercial aspects along the guest journey. The platform consists of integrated systems for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), digital marketing, guest experience and upselling, as well as business intelligence - including dedicated AI agents. Further product extensions are planned. The aim is to connect previously fragmented systems, simplify processes, and measurably increase hotels’ commercial performance.

The role of Florian Augustin
As Chief Product Officer, Florian Augustin is responsible for the strategic development of the Commercial Operating Platform. Most recently, he served as Deputy CEO & Chief Commercial Officer at HotelPartner Revenue Management and brings more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality and tech sectors. He has extensive expertise at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, enabling him to build integrated solutions that relieve hotels operationally and support sustainable growth.
